In other news, I had a call from a government department. I’d begun an application process for a benefit but then changed my mind.
They were confused because I wasn’t filling in the forms with the data they wanted. I explained it was an awkward time, I couldn’t supply the data, and I wanted to withdraw my application.
Post office/convenience store to post a letter to Germany, buy a birthday card for my baby sister, and replace the giant granny purse I bought a few months ago with something a little more pocket sized.
Then, pharmacy to collect my first ever free prescription because I’m now officially old.
And a run round the Co-op to top up on things to eat and drink.
I generally find a brain dump of everything I’m trying to say helps. I then walk away for a bit, before coming back and reading what I dumped. An edit here and there, perhaps another pause and review, and usually I end up with something worth sending.
