Slack, and only now with discord threads, is much better at Async communications. So for cross timezone stuff or scenarios where people want help.. they are just better

Discord is so much better at the real time experience.

There is overlap obviously, but that's where I see there key differences

Workers have been replaced by machines for years... It was logic engines, lookup tables, big data and now #ai It is not new, it is just more complex and more capable

Being scared by this is like being scared by cars replacing horses... Yeah, there is new challenges, we will need to find new safety systems, the workforce will change and for an individual it maybe shite a computer replaces them but at a society level... It won't be much different

More so, if we look at prompt engineering... That is a real skill. Maybe some more hanging fruit will go, but if someone wants to code with AI... They'll need to learn the new language of prompt engineering

There is one talk that is Pretoria-specific that is not going to be recorded. The workshops are also not recorded.

Normally it is a month or 2 after... depending on how long editing takes.
