I’m so annoyed!

ThinkPad has been great. Zero issues. I told my wife how cheap it was, and she mentioned her laptop is on its last legs.

So I ordered 1 more. Different seller but a similar refurb dealer w/ loads of good reviews.

They sent the laptop, with a different 3rd party shitty power adapter that didn’t work. So I asked for a new one and to their credit, they replied immediately with tracking # for the replacement.

Which came today… sans the cord that goes from brick to the wall.

My riscv beaglebone arrived tonight! I'm probably not going to do much with it right away, but I'm browsing the docs for it rn and

EDIT: apparently this is just the normal way to flash stuff these days

EDIT2: it is not running android, it is just using the "fastboot" utility from the android sdk to flash the rom. The BeagleV-Ahead comes with "yocto" installed but you can get an image for ubuntu to flash on it instead easily enough
