@fewtrell they're equipped to carry a passenger, but they're fully autonomous (and prone to giving very bumpy uncomfortable rides)

@pux0r3 it was doable without it, but it makes it a ton more forgiving if you're willing to sacrifice the stun frames to make the jump

@feyter I've already got a whole reference frame tracker for moving platforms to begin with so it wasn't too bad to add this. It's been a source of bugs but they do eventually mostly get squashed!

@feyter I parent a breadcrumb every frame on the tracked platform relative to the player's position, rotated to identity, then each frame I see how far it moved and how much it rotated and teleport and rotate the player by that much. making sure its parent gets cleared at the appropriate time. gets around non uniform scaling on objects

@feyter if you only have uniformly scaled platforms you can just reset your scale after parenting, though I do think that would eventually get unstable. If they're all unit scaled no issues whatsoever
