I’m trying to chill on the patio but someone is using some sort of noisy machine on the other side of the stream and Tom has just announced his intention to mow the lawn, so I think peace and quiet is out of the question. Boo to noise on a Sunday

Morning! I was awake a lot in the night then this morning I struggled to get up. It’s a lovely sunny day again, we’ve got some gardening to do and we can eat lunch outside again, love that. Anyone got any amazing Sunday plans?

I feel on edge. Maybe it’s the obscene amount of caffeine I’ve consumed. I’ve just got to finish making the dinner, then after we’ve eaten I’ll probably continue reading The Burgess Boys by Elizabeth Strout, which I am very much enjoying

@Callalily Thank you. I’m just edgy because of life stuff. Trying to relax and let the future unfold but I’m not good at that. I have four coaching sessions this month, one a week, and I’m really hoping they will help me figure some things out and be less anxious as a result

Well dinner was very nice https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/slow-cooker-chicken-chasseur I’ll be making that recipe again. And it was warm enough to eat outside! Now chilling by the fire pit, listening to jazz and sipping my drink. All very civilised

Ah, our friend we were meeting at the pub tonight has cancelled. I put dinner in the slow cooker for when we got back, oh well, at least dinner is already done. We’ve decided that as it’s a nice evening we’ll stay home and light the fire pit. I’ll have a couple of 0% ciders

Obviously my big stressor right now is not knowing whether to go back to my PhD and, if not, what to do with my life. We could manage with me not having an income for a couple of months, but not much longer, I have to do something. I’m trying not to fret about this, I have opened myself to opportunities, I’m sure it will all work itself out in time
