That’s what makes me the most excited for auteurs like Francis Ford Coppola or Lynch or Aronofsky or Tarkovsky - I watch movies to be immersed and feel something, and blam-blam-boom-booms have just never done it for me.

As an anxious person who hates sweaty games, I actually really enjoyed The Finals for a few months and even bought some DLC for shits and giggles. But it got old quickly and I entirely forgot it existed.
Ditto. I don’t ever replay single player games, but I’ve played Control 3 times and this post makes me want to start again! It and the DLC are all atmospheric gold
