Yes, please occupy one of 2 charging spots with your stinky dinosaur car and make sure to park as close to the line as possible, even though there is plenty of space on the other side.
I should have parked my car (the white one) much closer to you, so you couldn't get in, but I am not as big of an asshole.

For context: this is the parking lot of hospital. Visitors have to pay except if you use the charging stations.

ETA: I am aware that this is a first world problem.

@derthomas I can top that with a hydrogen-fuelled car routinely blocking the single charger we have in our little village on Saturday evening. Having an E on the license plate is not a free-for-all :)

I love my new setup (Fedora and KDE plasma)
It all feels so nice and clean. and new.
And smooth.

Too bad I'm only gonna use it once a week :(

Oh, and Powershell. I love powershell.
It's my default shell now.

@kohelet Fedora just works very well :) I've been running it for years now, and since leaving my job at Microsoft it has become my main driver on my gaming rig, my workstation and my Surface Go 3 - and of course I'm running PowerShell for my automation tasks :)

Wow. Während bei Xing immerhin noch die ein oder andere interessante Stelle dabei ist, für die ich angefragt werde, ist es bei LinkedIn wirklich nur irgendwelcher Bullshit.

@thomas Nicht nur unpassende Jobangebote. Die sind schon ein wenig nervig, aber gingen für mich im Grundrauschen unter.
In meiner neuen Position scheinen windige Marketingmenschen Gewinne zu wittern und kommen mit Premium-Vorschlägen wie "Virtual Assistants" aus ausbeutungsfähigen Ländern. Die Dame, die mir den Vorschlag unterbreitet hat, hat es natürlich als Chance verkauft.
Insgesamt leider eine Plattform, um die mein Unternehmen nicht herum kommt. Ich selbst ignoriere LinkedIn meistens.

Something that bugs me about Linux boot problems - the answer almost always documented is "Turn off Secure Boot".

Do people not understand why this is a dangerous thing to do? There are good reasons why Secure Boot is turned on by default on all new computers.
When a safety feature gets in your way, the solution is not to permanently turn the safety off. 😡

@DXMacGuffin @derthomas no, but the Internet's recommendation in case of issues is often the same: turn it off, instead of understanding how it works :)
