That was my assumption but I was providing rationale for the vote. It’s easy enough to block bots and there’s not that many overall.

I’ve been enjoying it a lot, especially moving from music videos to YouTube videos. I wonder if people are confused because they didn’t watch the movie that explains why Beavis & Butthead are in the present time and what’s up with old and space versions of B&B. I thought it was quite clever.

I was among reddit refugees a year ago and it took me a moment to notice what was going on ml and their communities were more significant in comparison to what we have today.

One of the reasons I’m on sopuli.xyz now is that it was one of the first reasonably big instances to defederate hexbear outright. Hesitance and outright hostility to defederate it from some instance admins was also worrying.

I found my current and previous job via LinkedIn but I applied through company recruitment portals. It’s an ok job board / aggregator for us corporate types. You just have to ignore extremely deranged and deluded people posting ego stroke fests and the most inane advice.

I’m buying via Turkey, it’s quite convoluted to set up but well worth it.

IIRC I used this guide with Google Translate: mydealz.de/…/anleitung-turkische-kreditkarte-o-ve…

What you essentially do is set up a Turkish bank account via bank that requires local phone number, like FUPS. There are paid services that forward SMS with one time codes that are require to finalize registration.

In Turkey you can pick up a blank physical debit card that you then link to that account. That’s the shadiest part as you have to do that through some russian marketplaces with rather limited payment options. Once that’s done you can top up this card via Revolut because it allows transfers straight to card.

Once that’s done change your Microsoft account region to Turkey, link card and wait a couple of days (region change can lag a it). You don’t need a VPN at any point.

Did Steam require local payment method or just VPN? This is so convoluted and shady that I think it’s way beyond what average Joe can do to get games on the cheap.

We hate russia but half of draft aged men would escape Poland before breakfast if war broke out. We don’t own anything and have no say in anything so why would we fight to protect fortunes of the wealthy? There is no sense of community in this nation.
