So there is a wildfire near me that has grown over the past few hours and lead to the evacuation of surrounding homes

It's now too smokey to even see the night sky, just my luck!

I am living next to several cities that are the worst for allergies.

I have pointed out in several posts that the was responsible for my allergies here is the proof.

So again change deniers will be blocked and reported and are very unwelcome in this community. Your opinion is irrelevant.

@compost i saw another study that literally said: it's not climate change. It's the chemicals that pollute the environment that kill bees which cause all kinds of havoc in nature which leads to increased allergies.

I'm on a short holiday trips but I'll try to look for it. I think it was done and written by Wageningen University

@compost they're of course not mutually exclusive. But for what I know is that chemicals are restricted in EU more than USA. But we still have too much. Also related here is the enormous increase in Parkinson's disease, in young people but especially farmers. When I was young there were almost no people with allergies, now 30 years later it's easily half of the people. 😢

Watching #eurovision I was pleasantly surprised to see Gåte representing Norway.

It reminded me of that very early morning two decades ago when I jumped bud-naked in a fjord together with one of the band members. It was late at night after a performance at the local student venue. I'll never forget how* we ended up heating ourselves in front of a large restaurant oven.

*by walking through a cheering crowd.. I'm sooo happy cellphone cameras were shit those days :-)

Ik kocht een milkshake en leerde twee dingen:

  1. 'Middelgroot' staat gelijk aan ongeveer 2,5 kg;
  2. Je hebt +/- 2,5 minuut om het gevaarte naar binnen te werken, want daarna wordt het papieren rietje zelf vloeibaar.
