It’s humbling to watch the Ottawa marathon runners just to go back to laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

I love Mayor Sutcliffe’s passion for opening roads for active use! Now imagine if he were consistent in this position.

It’s really frustrating the pedestrian bridge at Carleton still looks like this! If it were a parking lot it would be open by now! #autowa #ottawalkers #ottawa

Twenty years ago, the CBC held a contest to name the Greatest Canadian (spoiler, it was Tommy Douglas). It’s an odd thing to remember now, but advocating for Pierre Trudeau was Rex Murphy.

Just spent a hot second on Facebook and am stupider for the experience. Every second post is someone I don't know peddling horse shit packaged to look like news.

God help us.

This is an interesting perspective. By pushing federal public servants back to downtown Ottawa, the premier has turned his back on smaller towns. https://ottawacitizen.com/opinion/columnists/peckford-federal-public-servants-should-support-the-economies-of-where-they-reside-not-where-they-work

“When executives profess to understand, in their cashmere, what it’s like to put something back on the shelf after doing some mental math, Canadians don’t just reject it – they boycott.” https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/article-loblaws-facade-of-benevolence-has-fully-cracked/

So we are going to have public servants downtown 3+ days a week now. Okay. How is Ottawa and the province helping them get in and out? On my way home on a ho-hum Wednesday afternoon I was walking faster than the line of personal vehicles trapped on O'Connor. Can we not provide better, more affordable transit first?

If you don’t know the difference between a tax rate and tax inclusion rate don’t feel bad. A lot of people – including some very prominent politicians - don’t either. There’s a lot to like about a higher inclusion rate for the most wealthy. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: 📢 The threads on that sharp new three-quarter length coat you got? — that’s called a tacking stitch. It’s temporary. Please remove them so the vent opens. ✂️👍

This kind of thing should be illegal. If your company wants to charge me an undisclosed $4 fee you shouldn’t be able to bury it under “taxes and other”.

It’s been getting warmer. That means carbage season in Autowa! Like tulips from the snow, abandoned car parts from crashes, near-misses and disintegrating vehicles are everywhere! What carbage are you finding in your neighborhood?
