Whenever a co-worker leaves it's usually just because there's something else they want to do instead, so why do I think "oh no what happened" every time I hear about someone leaving a band

@CrypticMirror I agree with you, my original take was bad. I've definitely had coworkers who left because of issues they had with the company or management.

Rethinking it, I think I'm more likely to think "the band members fought" when hearing about someone leaving a band, and I don't usually think "they didn't like their coworkers" when hearing about someone leaving a job. I don't usually think "they didn't like the management" when it comes to someone leaving a band

It bothers me when people give up on maintaining a shared landscaping area and just replace it entirely with rocks. It's not very common where I live, but someone nearby did it and I'd much rather look at overgrown grass than rocks.
