It exists! European Sleeper inaugural departure. 3x a week, Berlin - Amsterdam - Brussels night train. It’s pretty retro, but it’s a heroic effort to even get this to run

OK, so I have a spare few hours during a #CrossBorderRail trip to Barcelona 1 June (am giving a speech on 2 June)

I have heard there are some old Renfe Talgo night trains parked up and rusting on the north edge of Barcelona - I think that must be about here https://www.google.de/maps/place/41%C2%B026'31.5%22N+2%C2%B011'45.8%22E/@41.442078,2.1953914,260m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d41.442078!4d2.196054

And it looks like (within the general rules of course not flying over roads, live railways etc.) that drone flying there ought to be possible...

Can anyone confirm that is indeed where these trains are?

@stroughtonsmith which font are you using for the digits? I’m using a similar font for https://www.railcontrol.pro, but digit one doesn’t render as nicely as yours 😇

@stroughtonsmith Thanks! That's the one I’m using too. Unfortunately it's not monospaced and 1 is not aligned to the right, but smaller and centered.
Your solution to convert it to an image is pretty smart. Will try!

@jon Speaking of Stadler: Are there any plans to use the Euro 9000 in Belgium? Just spotted one in Brussels/Schaarbeek with M6 carriages. If so, I’d assume for some international traffic?

I’m pretty new to #CrossBorderRail, so maybe you’ve talked about this before.
