@hynek As long as ground is correctly connected you are going to be fine. If you are not sure, just don’t touch it.

Now I get why a lot of people don't like #snaps. #Snapcraft is superbroken outside of #Ubuntu πŸ˜•

@popey I eventually just gave up trying to build a snap. When I tried using the default setup, even after allowing traffic on the network interface manually, snapcraft fails to install snapd in the LXC container. I checked and I can access the Ubuntu repos, but not the snap store. Switching to using multipass gave me even worse results. VMs spawn using multipass have no network access even after manually granting access on the firewall. I'm probably missing some of the magic snap does on Ubuntu.

If I wanted that, I’d be a full time android user.

I’m not.

I want my daily driver to be a device I basically never have to worry about in terms of security. Ever.
