real, instead of donating to superstores like target donate to your local queer instances. Help keep the queer spaces around you functioning long term, providing platforms for queer people to feel comfortable expressing themselves. Donate to local community members in need of money for things like making rent payments.

@puppygirlhornypost Another reason to not donate through stores is that it gives them a tax writeoff that they don't deserve because they aren't spending their money for it, they're spending yours, & I'm pretty sure in the USA you can't write off your donations through stores like that since they aren't charity organizations, so they're basically stealing from you & pretending to do a good thing. If you're going to donate to anything you should donate directly. If you donate directly there is no chance of stores embezzling or taking a percentage of it & you can also put it on your taxes, so both you & the charity benefit from it.

@SirTapTap I haven't played any of those games. Also yeah, mockiwis didn't really feel like Pikmin enemies, at least not in the context of Hey! Pikmin. Maybe they would have worked in one of the Pikmin 3 tropical areas.

@ai6yr How do you get any use out of rfparty when it's like this? Search is super basic & has no way to exclude certain things & you can't click a circle if it's "under" another circle. Also no way to export current data that I can find.

I want to learn how to make small programs like desktop apps for a single purpose or Minecraft mods to do one specific thing. I know how to do basic scripting but scripts can't do everything. I don't know where to start besides "learn a programming language", which isn't the issue at all, I need to learn how to use a programming language, not just know one. You can't just learn C or Java & then be able to do anything with it, you have to learn how to make an executable out of your code & how to use libraries & how to package it & install the program you made. Every tutorial or class I've seen on programming only teaches how to write the code in a text file & not how to actually use it once it's written. What's the point if I can't even use it? It also just makes it way more difficult to learn when you can't see how it's doing something useful for you.

@cy Yeah, those were mostly meant to show kids "look, you can do this!" & get them to feel better about it than teach them Java. Kids that used those would end up learning Java to make more complicated mods.
