I used journalctl -k -f and this is the output, I’ve also tried dmesg and smartctl and replied with the output on other comments, and all show some kind of I/O error, I guess I’m fucked or can it be because of a bad cable or something?

Hey, it also has more features which was something I was looking for, too. Sadly it’s proprietary, but well, it’s better at least and it doesn’t have such a strange name like this one.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

Yeah, like the space war where the US fascists won, oh right the Soviet Union was ahead on virtually everything except the Moon landing.

https://lemmy.ml/pictrs/image/7ad0023c-bbb4-40dd-9647-a7594539caca.webp

At least don’t make it sound like it was one sided, the Anglo empire did the same shit for propaganda as the USSR, it was just another kind of propaganda, a bourgeois one.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

Every opportunity where diversity can grow is a good one. I’m glad they will try to build national alternatives to a US dominated market, which is never a good thing. They’ll probably be cheaper which is a good thing keeping in mind the Steam Deck is expensive unless you live in the first world.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

>Literally State planning, free market
>dictatorship

Yeah, I can see why the US is falling to pieces.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

death to the us fascist empire

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

lol

Anglo proprietary ones are just the same shit, racist fuck.

Whats the purpose for usernames on signal?

Been using signal for years and love it and got the majority of my contacts on to it. My question is how are usernames useful now? You still need to register with a phone number with signal to limit spam and bots afaik and I’m assuming you should protect your username just like you do your phone number anyways because spam,...

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

Another scenario, you are a us citizen and they lock you in for exposing your fascist country’s war crimes

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

I tried to read you in goofld faith but the moment you basically said the dev shouldn’t be able to have a side project, or a life for that matter, because they should be working for you to get the feature you want is unforgivable. It is libre software, you are free to contribute and add it yourself. Value others’ work, you entitled fuck.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

Superborthers sword and sworcery is very good on the phone, better than on PC nad its just a one time purchase, the same with bury me my love, plug and play

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

You still need a terminal emulator capable of displaying images, though, right? Like Kitty, Allacrity won’t do the trick.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

I think another difference is that Movary has some more social features, web sites to track the media you consume often allow you to follow people with the same tastes, see how other people rated things, have recommendations, stats, etc.

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

It’s still in alpha, so maybe, I guess you could open an issue and ask about it, maybe even help. 😁

gary_host_laptop,
@gary_host_laptop@lemmy.ml avatar

thank you very much, i thought it was pretty dumb if this feature was lacking
