in my deranged pre-coffee excitement, i forgot to add a little bit of extra liquid to the egg i soaked my test-batch of french toast in, so the Just Egg was still very thick and the bread came out very unevenly covered. but i’ll try an omelet tomorrow

the taste is mostly fine, but i wouldn’t describe it as eggy. it still definitely has that moong dal flavor. i forgot to get the black salt that apparently gives it the egg flavor, so i’ll have to pick some up and try it

I just had an idea for a neat thing Apple could do.

Y’know the little tabs that pop up when you select text in iOS?

It’d be cool if the device learned which actions you tend to choose in a given situation.

So, if you choose “Translate” more often than, say, “Format,” they could make that a little easier for you.

This is an idea that I just had.

@BenRiceM @hotdogsladies extra infuriating is that on iPadOS, if you two-finger click with a pointer device, it exposes a more traditionally laid-out vertical context menu with exactly the same items all on one screen. why that isn’t everywhere is beyond me

website’s coming together real good now. migration is finally done. made a couple of posts for the songs i’ve released. everything seems to be working smoothly. gotta figure out how to autopost rss to social networks, then open source the repos, then write the intro blog post, then it’s launched!
