Alexander Skarsgård doesn't fit my mental model for Murderbot, but the fact that they are working on a series is incredible news. #appletv#television#popculture
I run publication hosted on Medium. I've started bullet journaling to focus on what matters, with the pub and in general. Today I watched a video by the bullet journal creator and he mentioned interstitial journaling, which he picked up from @coachtony, Medium's CEO.
@coachtony I legitimately did a double take when he said Tony Stubbleline, rewound to listen again, then went to find the article. It was sitting in my reading list already! 🤣
I have this milestone measure of how work has been going. It was a lot of work at the start. So first, do I stop working before midnight? Then do I exercise? Then do Sarah and I watch TV together? There hasn't been a milestone change for awhile, but I'm hoping that I get to start blogging again.
I don't mean this in a whining way, but it does kind of suck to love writing on Medium so much that I got the top job and then end up so busy that my only good writing is in memos to the board.
Now that the curtain has closed on this season of Ahsoka, I'm back to thinking about this smoldering brisket of a former Jedi. We spent 8 episodes with him and I still don't know what his whole deal is. I'm very much pro-mystery, but too many of JJ Abrams mystery boxes has conditioned me to expect disappointment. Hoping that's not the case here.
Anyway, I'll definitely be writing something about Baylan Skoll in the very near future.
In recognition of its 11th anniversary, Medium is hosting a day-long online conference on August 12. As part of the festivities, Fanfare is hosting a 30-minute session in the morning. And you're invited! And it's free!
The session I'm running: Writing About Movies For Fun & Profit
Should #Medium take active measures to prevent AI companies from unapproved, uncredited, uncompensated training on your stories? (Assume this is possible)
