I gave up on pixelfed and made an instagram account for the first time in my life. strange feeling, but had to concede that it's the best platform/online community for aerialists, which is the first visual art I've ever practiced seriously... and it'll be good to keep that part of my life separate from everything else.

Another #politics of research thing—I wrote a piece for the Journal of Psychedelic Studies that came out last week.

It's about how I attended the first scholarly psychedelic meeting in the USA since the research revival—Psychedemia 2012— & spoke at the second Psychedemia ten years later.

Also the politics of psychedelic science; the institutionalization of knowledge (especially in the psy-sciences); & what this all means amid rising conservatism
