The researchers found that individuals with ADHD tend to be more explorative instead of just exploiting their known surroundings until depletion when searching for resources (like food).
In the study this resulted in people with ADHD getting more rewards (food) than people without it which could indicate that it might have actually been an evolutionary advantage when humans still had to search for food.
“ADHD can be a serious problem but it’s a problem in large measure because of today’s environments.”
Which isn't too surprising imho.
It's not people with ADHD that are a problem, it's the society that is run by sociopaths that prioritize exploitation over exploration and try to force that way of thinking onto everyone else around them.
Ist schon ne ganze Weile her.
The rack has a footprint of exactly 24x24cm and fits devices up to 19cm width.
Devices inside for those that are interested:
Turris Omnia v2 Router
patchpanel with cat6 keystones
D-Link DMS-107/E 2.5 gbit switch
RPi3 running PiHole + UnboundDNS
Dell OptiPlex 3060 Micro for random stuff
I'm still working out some minor flaws in the design and want to improve some things here and there.
Once all that is fixed I will probably release the files for the Rack on Printables (or Github).
Blocky can't do recursive DNS either and seems to have a lot less features than PiHole.
And it's a lot harder to configure and use since it is CLI config only and doesn't offer a proper webinterface.
I don't want to have to login to the Pi via SSH every time I want to change some whitelist entry or some other config.
There's zero reason for me to replace the perfectly fine working and easy to use PiHole with something like this.
And from all that I can tell from the documentation Blocky does not do actual recursive DNS at all.
It uses a list of external resolvers which it otherwise simply would not need.
The "custom DNS" feature of Blocky has nothing to do with recursive name resolution.
And as for the config:
I can export that as a single file in Pihole as well for backup purposes and just import it again in a new instance at any time, via the webinterface or pihole CLI tool
#37c3 tickets weren't instant sold out.
Now you can even preorder merch and just collect it instead of waiting in line for hours.
And the merch contains "37c3" and not just the cryptic slogan.
I like this new congress!
@faker Merch pre-order was also available at the camp this year and it's great!
No more anxiously waiting in line, hoping that your size doesn't sell out before you get one 😅
