The next PlayStation game coming to PC is going to be Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart! The Steam store page is live now and mentions the game will include FSR 2, which could help #SteamDeck performance!

This team certainly wasn't as well built as some of those of the previous few years, but there's absolutely no way they should have been in a relegation dogfight.

So I got a #Bluesky invite a few days ago. I've been pottering around in the platform for the last few days and honestly, aside from the obvious early access lack of features I'm surprised by just how quickly the community seems to have embraced the 'twitter-ness' of it all.

I'm really struggling to get into #TearsOfTheKingom and I think it's a me issue.

I struggle with games that want the player to go out and discover it for themselves. I need some direction, otherwise I end up sort of just.... Aimlessly wondering around.

@soragrey yeah I've got a Switch, although I've had it for years at this point so recency bias might be a factor here.

My Switch is great, but it's underpowered and feels like a small toy in comparison to my Steamdeck.

If I could play Tears of the Kingdom on my Steamdeck, I absolutely would.

Started a new #CrusaderKings3 game yesterday, and been playing it most of today (took a day off of work 😅).

My first character, King Arnbjorn of Iceland, is on his last legs. He started off a nobody at the age of 16, and now as at the ripe age of 76, he rules a Kingdom that consists of Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, the Northern Isles, and a little tiny section of Norway.

I'd say that was a successful life!

@EighthLayer I think the Crusader Kings franchise might be the game that fits into the 'I wish I could get into this' category for me.

Everything about it looks fascinating but whenever I try to jump in I end up dropping it almost immediately.

@EighthLayer if I feel like I'm not playing a game 'the right way' I'll end up getting frustrated with it.

Like watching County Cricket....it's one of those things that you need to be able to set aside time for, and right now I just don't have that time.

Did I spend a good chunk of my day playing a Paw Patrol game? Yes. Do I have an another 1000gs and completion? Also yes. And for anyone with young kids, Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups save Adventure Bay would be a great introduction to gaming, and it's on #GamePass

    This is going to sound.....odd, but I genuinely don't think anyone can be truly prepared, or ever truly understand how absolutely exhausting it is being a parent before you're one of them. Even on the good days I'm absolutely shattered by the end of the day.

    If a company is demanding that regulatory bodies need to 'look hard at the role of the CMA and the regulatory structure' then that regulatory body is probably doing a decent job.

    All this talk of how this will effect Microsofts investment in the UK going forward, or how this is a win for the EU; that it means death for tech investment in the UK in a post-Brexit world is sh*t. We're watching a toddler who's been told 'no' throw their toys out of the pram

    @EighthLayer isn't the UK the only other Market outside N.America that Microsoft is even remotely close to Sony in? There's absolutely no way they'd consider leaving that market. I'm not even sure they could if it also included the larger corporation.

    Pretty rough few hours for #Microsoft eh? Maybe the time is right so start focusing on developing incredible games that pull people to their platforms rather than looking to consolidate what's already out there with a anti-consumer land grab that was rightly stopped.

    Checking out @trunksapp for #Mastodon on #iOS.

    First impressions are very nice! Has a very #Android feel to it, which is quite refreshing to see on an #iPhone. I also like that you can easily filter the Home feed to remove replies and boosts so you can just see original content. Everything is laid out very well.

    I might be switching primary clients again. 😅

    @EighthLayer I've been using that in Android since I first found it. Decent combination of it looking nice, and having features.
