Speaker said "I don't check this email address as frequently" as the reason for not responding to us on time.

But why... ๐Ÿฅฒ Why didn't you not give the conference organizers the email address that you check more frequently?

@thejcannon @mariatta I hope that situation is a rare case not a common occurrence. Itโ€™s like saying โ€œsorry I missed paying my tax because I didnโ€™t check my mailbox oftenโ€ I think the government will not take that as an excuse. I think in this day and age checking email, personal and work ones, is like having a peak in your mailbox.

Not very familiar with #Python, so this took me a few moments to understand:

>>> 5 <= 6 <= 7  
True

That's quite fun.

It's working smartly too; it's not just doing (5 <= 6) <= 7 (which would be an error in Ruby). It correctly handles 5 <= 6 <= 1 (False). Wild!

@shane I think it is because Boolean is Integer in Python, try โ€˜5 <= 6 <= 2โ€™ ๐Ÿ˜Š

@iqbalabd @jonafato @darjeeling I prefer to not make the payments of speakers, organisers and volunteers mandatory. If they think they can afford the tickets, they can donate that amount to the organization. There should also be a program to support those who cannot afford the tickets to make the conference accessible
