Whew, what a week.

25th wedding anniversary

New school year for my HS son and wife, who is returning to the classroom after 4 years as an instructional coach

First tennis match of the season for my son (and 3 next week!)

Leadership off-site planning stuff and board meeting

Company bike outing

Etc.

I know that everyone has a lot going on in their worlds, but I’m a creature of habit and like predictable routine. Doing all of this one-off stuff every day has been exhausting!

I'm excited to announce that @thekitmalone has been granted full Admin Role & privileges on #HoosierSocial. She was already serving as Moderator and as cheerleader, recruiter, designer, and community manager via the Chief Ambassador title 😃. Now she will be able to help w/ things like registrations, federation rules, and server policies. More than that, though, is making official her voice and authority in decisions that continue to shape the direction of Hoosier Social. Thanks Kit!

Work has been kicking my butt lately but I’m 100% hype about today’s prospects. I’m sitting in my pjs drinking coffee, scrolling timelines, and waiting to pre-order new phones. Then headed to a golf scramble for the day. I’m an absolutely terrible golfer, but I’ll be outside with great weather, fun guys, and no emails. Positive vibes today!

My cousin couldn’t go to Carb Day and hooked me up with Hullman Terrace Suite tickets. My son had never been to the track so we went down to check it out. I’m glad he got to see the loud cars and louder jets, but this kid was in air conditioning, free food, racing sims, clean bathrooms, garage access passes, etc…I’m not entirely sure he got the typical experience! :)

I don’t have any “critter repellent” on hand at the moment and I’ve got a squirrel that has twice today dug in my planter on the porch so I just sprinkled dehydrated minced garlic, red pepper flake, and dried jalapeño over the mulch.

I wonder if these old ads about the sexiness of garbage disposals would be too much for our modern Indiana leaders, such as Mike Pence.

Thanking a man three times a day for a garbage disposal seems like it isn't keeping reproductive activities just for producing children to serve the glory of the lord and the army.

My company’s office is in the original Barbasol shaving cream manufacturing & distribution location. They have some of the old Barbasol ads up in the hallways & lobby’s to recognize the historical significance of the building. Whew, some of those didn’t age very well! Very similar vibe to the example you shared.

    Also, thank your local #healthcare worker for the thought and preparation they’re expending in advance of the #april8eclipse. I had no idea about the types of variables, situations, and contingencies they need to account for. No plan is perfect, but they’re sure trying to cover as many bases as possible.
