Birthday gift from my 17 year old was a Gambit figure from 1994. We’ve been bonding over #MarvelSnap and he has gotten to know the characters. We’ve watched some #xmen97 together too. Very thoughtful…he is a good kid.
Took the afternoon off so I could attend the retirement celebration of an elementary teacher in C’ville. Mrs. Rooze took my wife under her wing and helped her start her teaching journey. She has been a mentor, confidant, and friend for the last 25 years. We wouldn’t be who we are today without her. #Teachers are the best.
I saw a few young guys doing The #Murph Challenge today at the park. There was maybe a time years ago I would have attempted it, but that is much to hardcore for this old man. Good on ‘em.
My cousin couldn’t go to Carb Day and hooked me up with Hullman Terrace Suite tickets. My son had never been to the track so we went down to check it out. I’m glad he got to see the loud cars and louder jets, but this kid was in air conditioning, free food, racing sims, clean bathrooms, garage access passes, etc…I’m not entirely sure he got the typical experience! :)
Somehow, “I Left My Wallet In El Segundo” popped in to my head and I’ve been down a Tribe rabbit hole. Is Scenerio the most fun song ever? It’s definitely up there.
Is there a #mastodon client (iOS or mobile web) that has a followed #hashtags feed? I’ve seen many that allow you to see a list of the hashtags you’re following and drill in to any specific one. But I’m looking for a consolidated feed that is made up of matches to any/all followed hashtags.
My #AppleWatch looks like it is on its last legs. It is a Series 4 that I wear and use every day and the battery was already struggling to make it through a day. But now it is kinda freaking out. Randomly switching around like I’m tapping or swiping. I’ve power cycled, restored from backup, and wiped it clean and started fresh. That seems to indicate a hardware problem. Can I hold out until September?
