Don’t know why I thought people would want to read about freaks or the abused. No one cares. Normal people don’t want to read about losers and outliers. Freaks don’t want to be reading that shit. I stupidly thought that they and I would feel less alone. I feel so stupid for what I did the last 30 years. Such a failure. I need to stop. Why can’t someone stop me or kill me. Ugh. So sick of myself.
@thomas Tetra water conditioner. The water still had a ton of chlorine in it and the water was acidic. Added stress coat and ammo lock and pH stuff. I think I added too much of each. The water is really cloudy.
My grocery delivery got here just now and they brought the bucket I ordered, so I can finally start getting some of that gross water out of the tank.
@thomas I realized as I was taking water out of the tank and got about 1/3 the way down that the moss balls and moss rocks are still alive, so that is probably why my water looks all green and cloudy and gross.
I installed an actual filter in the tank and the water already looks better.
It's been like Christmas time with my store ever since I updated my logo to the "a store for autistic & neurodivergent adults" part.
Average order value is much higher, so people are spending more money. Google conversions are higher. Daily conversion rate doubled. Really genuinely did not expect that. I was just trying to do the right thing and stop excluding people.
@pathfinder I'm running the one store and self-publishing for next to nothing, so all the decisions I've made are falling into place at the right time.
I took the lower dose this morning of the depression med and ate more food with it, but now I’m a depressed blob because I’m too tranq’d to do anything. I’m so tired of this. Yesterday’s energy was nice, even though I was still foggy headed. I really don’t want to take it in the morning anymore. I’m eating so much food with my nighttime dose that it could be enough to last me 24 hours. I’m not supposed to mess with my meds by weaning myself off it but my psych is on vacation until June 29.
I’m hoping Strattera works better tomorrow without the morning med. I used to be on 40mg once per day of Strattera while taking 20mg of what I took this morning, and it was erasing the ADHD med. He told me to stop taking the depression/anxiety med and upped my Strattera to 2x daily. It was like I took Strattera for the first time and my brain had so much clarity. It worked like it’s supposed to. So hopefully that happens again tomorrow.
I deleted all social media apps from my phone except for Mastodon and Reddit.
Facebook is nothing but ads telling me to lose weight. Instagram went from telling me to become an influencer to literally showing my posts to no one. X boxed me into a brand and won’t let me get out of it.
The last few days I tried to be a real person + talk about business things I’m excited about, and I just watched all the algorithms suppress it.
So just going to see how well my business can do without it.
@ActuallyAutistic Profits were nice last month, but my expenses were $1,200 higher, so it needed a good month. But now my business is running on next to nothing with cost. I can afford to take the hit from being off social media now. Good thing about being down to only one store.
@DoctorDisco@pathfinder Facebook’s ad algorithm is cruel too. I posted once that I’m comfortable being single and gained weight which was a good thing because I got way too underweight and unhealthy, and now all I see are ads about weight loss. Including meds for weight loss. It got really triggering so I just stopped looking at Facebook.
I got a message today from someone who was google searching looking for info about self-publishing and it gave my store link in the search results. So yay! I emailed them and will discuss further tomorrow. Pretty neat that google is already bringing self-published authors to the store. It also brought some visitors today to the book collection of self-published authors.
@pathfinder I cleaned up the collection and removed all my planners and journals from it so the authors books will be more visible. Added my own book and audiobook too haha
