It's been a lovely weekend up in Maryborough. Blue skies, mid 20s, not entirely but somewhat relaxing time with family. Lots of cuddles with little Charlie (the dog). Really, this ain't bad.

The MG4 lane keep assist is scary shit. On the highway in the rain, and on narrow country roads it kept beeping and trying to steer me off the road. It can't be disabled, because it turns itself back on when you start the car. Apparently that's how it gets its 5 star safety rating.

I don't know what it is with the MG4 but the stereo is not great. I thought it was just DAB sounded bad, but turns out anything I play on it has that sloshy sibilance of a 90s Napster rip.

Holy hell that was SOO much more of a screw around than I thought it would be but I finally have a Mastodon dev environment to play around in. Vagrant just flat out refused to work so I had to do the manual install. https://docs.joinmastodon.org/dev/setup/
