Replied too fast. It's the right settings. Just tested it and all previews are displayed correctly. We will need more details to reproduce that bug.

Hello @apps

I've a big whish. Please add the possibility to follow a single person from another instance (which is potentially blocked by my instance), via the timeline feature.

It's possible to follow a complete Mastodon instance with , but it would be nice to follow only a single account (like @potus), because following @threads.net makes no sense (for me).

Yes, it's possible to use the public API to display messages.
It can be interesting when you want to follow and sometimes quote (share) messages.

That said, it's just a helper because if you add ".rss" to the end of the profile URL of an account, you can follow accounts with your RSS feed reader.

It seems that started to fail for some instances. That happens on older devices (Android 5 and 6).
We will reintroduce conscrypt to patch the security provider for older devices.

@apps has been doing that annoying thing again with cached timeline. It jumps from 10 hours ago to 5 hours ago. I realize the jump and have to scroll back to 10 hours and then force close and then reopen and then it fills in the in between timeline. It's really annoying to have to repeat this if I am way behind on my timeline.

Heya! Ever since the last update (I participate in the beta program), my app often crashes when I want to open toots to read them before replying....
It just closes the Toot and switches back to the main time line.
My phone warned me that it is a crash happening again and again.
Running version 3.28.2 (515) according to the last release notes (screenshot attached).
Hopefully this bug can be fixed in a next update! 😁

@apps bonjour ! Je viens enfin d'avoir la mise à jour qui devait corriger l'affichage des pseudos à cause des pronoms.

Malheureusement, avec la taille des textes fixée à 153 dans l'interface, le problème est toujours présent et ce n'est pas lié qu'aux pronoms à priori car le monde diplomatique n'a pas de pronom. Pourtant, il y a la place pour afficher le pseudo entier ici 🤔

Je pense que mettre les pronoms sur une ligne séparée, ce serait quand même vachement mieux.

Firefish uses the Mastodon API now. So all apps should work with that software.
That said, with Fedilab you can enable extra features to support more features like reactions and quoting messages
