I’m actually finding it pretty easy to read.

My Pocket 386 arrived! It seems to have basically the same specs as the Hand386, but in a laptop form factor. There's a few new options for managing the video, and the built-in screen isn't as horribly shit this time.

The resilver completed overnight, and 'lo and behold, the new disk also has read and write errors!

...which I should have expected given how much it vibrated and the fact that I now see it's a refurbished disk from Amazon. =p

Something I find curious is that the United Kingdom is referred to as "Britain" in North America, but I seldom see us use that, mostly seeing "The UK" instead.

We use "British" though, not "United Kingdomish" or what else.

Language is weird.
