Funny because this user’s history is all comments promoting GrapheneOS via links and praise. Blocking me is not a W. I will not block this chap and keep an eye on his endorsement.

True, we should make rapists the head of women protection police squads, and thieves the head of banks.

Edit: TIL internet users on Lemmy are dumb enough to not detect sarcasm

DDG’s former owner ran a data collection business. Make what you want out of it.

TheAnonymouseJoker is a clown (imo, no harassment or anything) Talked with them on the subject of privacy emails and they recommended services that store mail unencrypted and logs your ip address and stuff

Anyone with a brain will openly tell you that Riseup and Disroot are far superior email providers than ProtonMail. Your beliefs are utterly stupid regarding how emails work and how good or bad email providers are. Just letting everyone know you claimed ProtonMail is better than Disroot.

Ask the experts and activists who use these things, instead of being an armchair judge.

There was no verification. It was propaganda created by USA’s Bloomberg as part of its annually funded agenda to defame China.

Yes I like China because they are a morally great country, do good for their citizens, help keep PPP high for most people on earth, and do not bomb or genocide whoever they like. They also hang to death corrupt rich people, drug traffickers and sex traffickers.

Supermicrochip conspiracy had zero validity in any shape, size or form.

The removed comment is always shared with reason in modlog, for which content is removed. You can go check this yourself. I do not know why you insist otherwise.

Pen and paper. This is how I do it.

Journalling is a very intimate exercise and an endeavour pertaining to your real self. In your case, family as well. Do not make everything electronic in your life, keep many things mechanical. This is the true concept of privatelife I advocate for.

It is not necessary that you use fancy colour pens and glitters. A pen and pencil do well. The main thing is what is outputted on paper.

That is not how it works. The deleted comment as a whole gets to the mod log, without hyperlinks or image previews. Moderators do not do it.

There have been a lot of fatfluencer deaths lately, and it is a good sign for society to step back from some of this nonsense that is tacked as progressivism. Being unhealthy and carefree is not progressive, it is a mental issue, and a chunk of internet society has decided to make the world like themselves - insecure, traumatic, unhealthy, undisciplined, narcissistic, sociopath, deranged, selectively understanding of others and so on. They even think emotional coping actually works, when the psychiatry literature and studies show otherwise.

Why did the US lobby so hard to get Huawei off market? Because of course there are backdoors into the Chinese intelligence agencies. JUST LIKE US DEVICES!

Keep being the crazy uncle ranting about government spying because the world needs it.

Dunning-Kruger Pro max ultra. Believing in nonsense like crazy uncle is never helpful.

Huawei was banned because Apple, the national tech brand of USA, was butt hurt that Huawei overtook it in marketshare globally. And that Huawei refused to bake in NSA backdoors into Huawei devices with no backdooring. Western Big Tech dislikes that people can have any hardware that is clean of NSA backdoors, otherwise it would have been possible long ago to have commonly available backdoor free hardware in western countries.

Just because western countries do crazy shit, does not mean every country does.

The Superchip China microchip spying story by Bloomberg was a conspiracy theory long proven false. Even Amazon had to say it is too ridiculous.

I explicitly block Cloudflare and Google domains fully, until and unless it is a website with no privacy repercussions or throwaway account possibilities. If it is something I legally purchase and requires their captcha, I can tolerate it unless I can avoid.

People are too used to submitting or cucking themselves. I am not such a person.

Please read the paper by Ken Thompson, co-creator of Unix and C, on why we should be able to trust the developer and NOT the code. cs.cmu.edu/…/Thompson_1984_ReflectionsonTrustingT… Trusting unstable people like these is a huge risk.

Glad that you see through this reverse fat shaming. Apparently this is a thing these days. Every person that is healthy must have shady narratives, just because they choose to prioritise their mental and physical health over unlimited pizzas and Netflix.
