Hey people, I am looking for a solution that will analyse the photos from my smartphone, guess what's on them and allow searching by thing or place. You know, something that iPhotos does on an iPhone. Any suggestions?

@stfn immich does this too, and there's even ways to offload the required machine learning (to figure out what's in the pictures) to a more capable machine than the one running the main service, e.g. if you have a gaming computer with a GPU that isn't used all the time: https://immich.app/docs/guides/remote-machine-learning

@h4kor let me make a guess about what's happening here: you're not blending in SRGB (ie, using LCH) and the one of the two colours you're mixing is "a colour" (ie not black, transparent or the same colour as the other one) but has full transparency?

I ran into a similar issue when I experimented with color-mix and transparencies, see the bottom-left "with white (lch)" square here: https://codepen.io/Sirs0ri/pen/qBwZLym

In Chrome it should have the exact same colour as all the others, in FF it has a slightly changed hue
