Mine is auto, wife’s is manual.

I’m fine with manual, but need a few minutes to get used to the clutch work.

Until someone can demonstrate benefits of manual over auto for daily driving, my stance will remain unchanged.

30 years ago, maybe. These days there’s very little advantage of manual,.unless you’re going off roading or such.

Except some of the machines don’t accept certain brands/sizes. I tried returning the Aldi branded stuff (1L and 2L cartons) and didn’t go through. The little juice boxes were okay though.

After my xmas bout of whatever-the-fuck-virus I had a lingering cough for like 6 weeks. Went into work and had to keep explaining that I’m not sick, and not contagious. I understand the trepidation though. Still too many nuffies that think going into work while actively sick is some sort of show of strength.

There’s a bout of covid going through my office for the past few weeks. Mine isn’t covid (tested 3 times already) and probably not the flu (had my shot a couple of months back). Most likely just some head cold virus thingy that is more annoying than anything.

Some bright spark decided to bring fish for lunch to work and warm it in the microwave.

What’s worse? They decided to eat lunch at their desk.

I’m gonna spoke their water bottle with the crap from the dishwasher filter given a chance.

Funnily enough, I only put sugar and salt at the end after I’ve checked the flavour. This one didn’t need the sugar at all, but some might like it a bit sweeter.

If you’re in the city have a dip into one there (time permitted of course). There’s a few on Elizabeth St. There’s one that’s not bad in Melb Central (next to the coles).

I know they’ve got heaps of Chinese, Japanese and Korean stuff. Maybe not so much Thai and Malay and such.

Rinsing, yes but not soaking. I’ll give that a shot actually. I tend to get similar effects from canned lentils, so not sure if it will help, but why not.

Mae Ploy is literally the brand I had in mind. Got the red and yellow curries in the fridge. The red one has a bit of kick to it though. I use that one sparsely.
