    @amyfou I think I remember that the answer would be yes. 😆 Had a colleague years ago who lived some years on Oahu and Maui and was into linguistics. Makes a very melodic language like Malayan.

    Went to Bruno's Cafe this am and ordered a black coffee and plain bagel toasted with butter.

    I realized, I'm a boring man as I watched and listened to other people order complex coffee drinks and really delicious sounding breakfast sammiches. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    @amyfou Thank you! A few hours from now we‘ll meet with friends and family to talk, eat, laugh, drink and have a good time. They call this Birthday Party 😎🤗 (I‘m no longer a teen, three times over 😆😂😂)

    @Pierrette Fun fact: the solar activity is the reason I got interested in learning Italian. 😎 I should write a blog post about this, but the TL;DR is that a curious teenager trying out CB radio and living in Bavaria end of the 70s wanted to understand that squeaky voice saying “Chiamata generale undici metri, c’è qualcuno ascoltano in Germania?” 😁

    In a conversation on reddit today someone asked if other languages have phrases like "rightie tightie, leftie loosie" to remember which way to turn screws/lids/etc. And one person answers that in Spanish, the phrase is:

    "La derecha oprime, la izquierda libera."

    or:

    "The right oppresses, the left liberates."

    (Now I kind of want to put this on a t shirt)
