Although the summer is back (I intent to go swimming tomorrow 😅 ), I already see autumn is just around the corner. Some leaves are already bright red. The picture is from last year, but they are already looking nearly the same already this year.

Hallo Monday!

This fast moving train is looking forward to what this new week has to offer.

The picture is from my recent travel to Rügen (North of Germany) on a journey with the "Rasender Roland" - an old steam train. It is digitally edited to make it look like you are watching it through tiled glass.

Travel tip for today:

Czarny Staw Pod Rysami - a mountain lake above Morskie Oko in the Tatra Mountain Range near Zakopane in Poland. When the sun is shining the lake is covered in this gorgeous dark blue color (I enhanced the color slightly, but...that's what can actually be seen).

Am back from my short holiday trip. It was great! The weather was way better than the forecast predicted and I was even able to swim in the ocean a couple of times. I'm still sleepy from the long trip back home though.

I only took a couple of pictures, this grooming seagull is one of them - he was a very good photo model 😄

Yesterday I went swimming in the local lake again after a long time, felt so good - I was lucky, was there for 30 minutes, did my rounds, saw the big dark clouds...couldn't resist buying some french fries and JUST as I was on my way back to the tram, it started to rain 😅

The weekend is here!

And because I was a bit "complaining" about the weather lately: yesterday it was actually quite nice. I went to my local botanical garden and the sun suddenly came out of hiding 😊 This felt so good!

On a purple coneflower sits a bumblebee, many other purple coneflowers are seen blurry in the background with some green trees.
A greyish white mushrooms with many gills is standing in a meadow with green grass.
Many red and orange marigolds, on top of one of them sits an orange black butterfly with its wings fully opened.

Something non photography related today, but made digitally by me. I had a little discussion yesterday with my sister when I showed her this pillow. She told me that she sees it as an orange colored pillow. That got me curious, because I only see it as different shades of brown 😮

What do you see? Orange, brown or...both?
