Finally got lighting to work the way I want it to when next to walls and cliffs. Getting the right configuration of normal map was quite tricky. The downside is that now I have to replace the old tileset with the new one in every single level... yay...

Dialogue systems are so complicated that I've lost count of how many times I've rewritten mine. Animations need to play, characters need to walk to a given position... And you need to somehow store a reference to all of them.

I replaced the text with icons in the controller options. At first I was expecting this to take around 5 minutes but it ended up taking me 5 hours... just gamedev things!
