Good morning fellow Mastos and hello to Thursday. Hope you slept well. I was kept awake by the rain last night, which is annoying. However MrsD got up early and has taken Wesley out for wander, so I got a lie in.

Thats been a busy few days stitching, but damn, I need a break!
Not much to do in the main part of the pattern, then a 2 row border to finish.
I can do this.....I can! Friday is my self imposed deadline, I do have things to do the next couple of days, silly real life getting in the way of stitching!

Action for Happiness do a montly calendar, this month is Meaningful May. Day 2 - focus on what you can do instead of what you can't do.
This is something I really need to learn, when its a high pain/low mood day, I spiral right into the grief of what I can't do these days.

I needed to change payment details on a subscription. So on the PC (that I always use) I log into the account.
"We need to verify you"....alrighty then.
Check app for code...done.
Get code from back up email....okay, done.
We will now text a code to your phone....ffs, fineeeeeee.
Now solve this puzzle to prove you are human....gtf you colossal fucking wanks.

I get the need for security, but enough already.

Managed to get local grown asparagus today.
Stupidly expensive, but I'm oh so happy, I love asparagus.

Update on #DeathByCrossStitch by #LongDogSamplers.
Nowhere near where I wanted to be by now, no matter though. Fair amount done yesterday and today, taking a break again thanks to Bob the Gallstone making himself known.
Theres not much backstitch on this page of the pattern, that makes me happy! Lots to do on this page of the pattern, so I'll be jumping about all over the place so I don't get jaded with sections of it.

I'm declaring today a "dead day".

Being awake and moving just isn't happening today. Shoulder feels out of place (again), Bob is stabbing at me (Bob is a giant gallstone), nausea is through the roof, I don't even know what my legs are doing, but something funky is going on there.

What did I do to earn this fun day? I done chores yesterday and had an epsom salt bath to ease the pain. 🙄

Athritis, fibro and Bob can all do one.

I'll be dead and playing WoW for the rest of the day 😁

I made a decent amount of progress on #DeathByCrossStitch by #LongDogSamplers yesterday. Hopefully today I will manage to stay awake enough to finish some of the repeating pattern and fill in that big empty space. Doing backstitch as I go along on this page of the pattern. This is page 14 out of 16. My aim is to finish this by 10th May....I doubt I will manage, but I can try.

Good morning folks, well that sprint race was fun (I'll be nice, no spoilers).

Time for coffee number 3 for me, then I think its shower, do a little bit of diy, eat something, then it will be qualifying time. If I can find something good to watch, I will likely end up stitching all day, it not, there will be a nap happening.

My local cat rescue is sharing posts about all the older cats they have for rehoming......they had 52 calls about 8 kittens they have, but nobody is interested in the older cats 😞 When I say older, some of these cats are 2!!! If I had space, money and my 2 weren't dickheads, I would rehoming some of them.
