I really liked it the way it was on the Rift S. You could just skip the guardian but keep the passthrough. It didn’t require lurking around developer opinions, you had that setting available during the setup
I find framerate more noticeable when I’m closer to the screen. Which is why I don’t mind the framerates of my phone/Steam Deck, but on a desktop monitor 60 Hz is not enough
Ye, since Plasma 5.24 I think. Used to occasionally switch to X11 for competitive gaming, but as of Plasma 6 their Wayland compositor supports fullscreen tearing, so now I have no need to use X11 anymore
PC, Steam. I can play it on most of the VR devices. Modern VR titles use OpenXR, so if I have ex. a Quest 3 then those games use Meta’s native drivers, no need to run SteamVR between them
