@Aluminance I haven't tried myself but for what I read before in forums was about the game running pretty stable at 30 fps with all the graphics on high settings. The biggest down of these games is all the ubisoft connect and intermediate software they have, it seems makes the process of launching the game a hassle
@Aluminance What I was most surprised about was how great the story was. Watching the relationship between the recently widowed hero and his estranged son was surprisingly touching.
And of course, the combat was incredibly tight, but it may not translate well to the SteamDeck.
I mostly play platfomers and metroidvania games, but I know that those aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.
@EighthLayer I do have a “verified” role which gets you access to the rest of the server but you get it through choosing a specific button in the rules channel.
I guess having a little verification system where they explain a bit about them would help
@Aluminance Yeah I guess it’s down to personal preference. If you’re experiencing a lot of trolls and creeps, manual intervention may be the way to do it, if only temporarily.
Anyone have suggestions for a good #iPhone case? (15 Pro Max)
I’m looking for a case that has either;
• A sliding/flap camera cover
Or
• Is bulky enough around the camera to protect
I’m also looking into MagSafe compatible cases for a MagSafe popsocket.
I already have a bulky case I bought with the phone but I’m paranoid about protecting my cameras. I work in a deli so I’m constantly around stuff to bump into.
@harrybo93@Aluminance I’d advocate for Torras as well. I’ve had the same case on my phone since new a couple of years ago and it’s survived a few falls. I use their Ultra Thin case.
@Aluminance I was tempted to get other colors myself because they were pretty! However, I never rock a clear phone case. I'd honestly never see the color, unless I can find a clear case that doesn't attract jean dye.

I do hope that in the future that the Pro Max has more color options. As fun phone colors are lovely!
I’m getting ready to (eventually) upgrade my phone and it’s between the 14 Pro Max and the 15 Pro Max. I know there’s little difference between the two but which should i go for?
@Aluminance If possible, I’d always go for the more up to date device. Reason being is it’ll be supported for longer than the older model. Apple do tend to support their devices for a long time, but worth getting that extra year of support if you can. 👍
@Aluminance With the money I'll have earned from working on two holidays in a row...I'm going to buy games and some cool stuff like a fitness tracker and a new phone case. I want to make my backlog grow due to all these gaming sales taking place right now. 🥹
@Aluminance I’ve tried most of the apps available and I always go back to using @MonaApp. It may be a paid for app to unlock many of its features, but it’s well worth the one time payment in my opinion.
There is also a 14 day no-subscription trial as well, so you don’t need to remember to cancel it.
