@Aluminance One thing you can do to help combat that is create a role that you and your mods can manually assign to people that join. Give that role access to everything in the server you’d want your members to access. Then by default have it so new joiners don’t have access to anything other than limited channels like a welcome or rules channel.
Doing that means you can vet new joiners before they gain access everything else.
@EighthLayer I do have a “verified” role which gets you access to the rest of the server but you get it through choosing a specific button in the rules channel.
I guess having a little verification system where they explain a bit about them would help
@Aluminance Yeah I guess it’s down to personal preference. If you’re experiencing a lot of trolls and creeps, manual intervention may be the way to do it, if only temporarily.
