I want to 3d print some button housings for tactile switches - the simple toggle/push buttons we see everywhere in electronics kits...
I actually eventually want to design something for one of those cheap matrix setups to go in.
So this morning I'm off to see what I can find, but if anyone already has an #OpenSCAD design that they can recommend with a good mechanism and mountings I could use as a starting point, I'd be very interested in hearing about it :)
@workingonit Mashed a bunch of OE phonetics into the brain. No two experts pronounce the soft g the same way, it is maddening. Did almost no French at all.
@workingonit Skipped a couple of updates during my masto break but my main OE textbook arrived, so I’m noodling away. (Been lagging on French, though.)
Practiced Spanish (couple hours; lots of homework) ✅
Didn't have time to type up any of today's thoughts about my qualifying exam lists… but I do feel more convinced of the substantial changes I drafted over the weekend! ✅ (I also made time to attend @FractalEcho 's #Neurodivergent Burnout webinar on Writing with Executive Dysfunction today, which was very useful! And as they pointed out, dreaming, thinking, or pre-writing also count as writing!)
Yesterday, I asked in a locked post if anyone wanted to pair up for lightweight daily check-ins as I ramp my own language-learning back up, and lots of people did, so maybe this is worth trying at slightly larger scale.
This group — @workingonit — should boost whatever is sent to it, and you can follow it to see the whole conversation. (I'll also use a hashtag for redundancy.)
I'll post sixish days/week—feel free to ping with your own check-in or mute if you're not interested!
