I had to cut 2000 words from a paper (they were the wrong words, sadly), leaving me 3000 words short. Working now to build back better ... but gonna call it for the night. Sad manifesto due in 23 hours. 🙃

In other news, if you're ever bored, read about what happens between Charles I and Charles II in England in the 17th c. I'm trying to write about emergent American nationalism in the MA colonies but it keeps getting overshadowed by the frankly batshit English side of things 🦇
