Kasibu, Nueva Viscaya in Northern Luzon is a waterfall paradise. The sleepy and quiet town features "multi-tiered waterfalls, complex cave systems, eco-trails that ascend to stunning views, and birdwatching spots that more than 80 bird species call home."
(8/10) Next in my series of 10 favourite photos of the year: Niagara Falls! Not the falls you are probably thinking of, this version is on Vancouver Island (Goldstream Provincial Park) and while almost as high, is a bit less in volume!
This is a small waterfall at Whatcom Falls Park in Bellingham, Washington State, USA. I liked the small waterfall but the green moss and the sprinkling of fall maple leaves are why I stayed and worked on a composition.
Kamba Falls are located in Kamba Waterfall Park, near the city of Maniwa in Okayama Prefecture. This scenic area is especially popular during autumn season, and it is also the habitat of some 200 wild monkeys.
A small waterfall on the side of Sumas Mountain in the #FraserValley of #BritishColumbia. I visited this spot because I saw a small trail leading off the side of the road near a creek and was a bit surprised to see 3 nice waterfalls in the area!
The other evening at a coffee shop I had plenty to work on, but I was just fried. It's been a busy couple of months, and my ability to make words was gone. So I switched gears and processed some of the photos I made during my recent trip down the Oregon coast. Engaging that different part of my brain, and working in black and white, really settled me in the best way.
