@Tutanota Thank you for your great email service. However, I've faced severe challenges with your customer support's unresponsiveness (I've sent several emails in the last few months. With no answer to any), regarding the Linux AppImage issues. It's concerning that I've only received responses when leaving public comments (that's why I'm leaving this comment here). Please prioritize addressing this issue. Your prompt attention is appreciated.
@luvcie Hi there, please let us know the exact error you are experiencing with the AppImage and we can bump this w/ our support team. Have you also tried the Flatpak version?
I've been mostly very happy with #tuta@Tutanota mail since switching to it a few months ago but it seems to have developed the habit of deleting all my saved contacts every few days
I have contacts synchronization enabled
I use the iOS client (on 2 devices) and the web client (on 2 other devices)
Now switching my web client usage over to the windows client to see if it encourages it to stop deleting my contacts...!

When will the two largest providers of secure encrypted email make it the default for messages sent between them to be securely encrypted? If even they can't manage it what hope is there for the rest of the email world?
Disappointed to find "require authentication every time" isn't an option on the #Tuta email app for #Android
I know I'd lose new email push notifications, but this is my phone so notifications are off for reasons already. I was hoping that if someone finds my phone and gets into it they'd need my email password and non-phone-based 2fa to get into my emails.
@bardsworld Thanks for your feedback. We are thinking of making this an option as well, to have sth like Lockdown Mode. Stay tuned! :) For now, I'd recommend, you choose biometrics unlock - your password will be stored encrypted and your mailbox can only be accessed with your biometrics.
Skiff got bought up by Notion.
This means that all skiff users need to find a new platform.
Notion does not even offer an email service, so we just lost a big player in the privacy community, very sad that they made this decision. I have considered switching to something like #tuta or #proton.

I am considering services like #tuta or #proton but i'll wait a few days or weeks and see what others come up with and test out a few services.
