Strong seaweed vibes from this Liu'an guapian (one of the 10 famous Chinese teas). It's said to be the only green tea made entirely from leaves, no buds. #herbata #tea@tea
Absolutely enamoured with this white tea 🩷
It used to give me heart palpitations, but i guess it mellowed over the years.
It is an 8 year old 福鼎白茶 (Fuding white tea).
You know what they say about white tea
一年茶,三年药,七年宝
Got myself a treasure ☺️ #tea#herbata@tea
Saturday is black tea day, 2021 Red Wine Black tea, Thailand tea from Pu-erh.sk. Seems a bit odd to order Thai grown, Yunnan-style black tea from Slovakia, but Peter is a nice guy and the tea is good.
Hope is not about proving anything. It's about choosing to believe this one thing, that love is bigger than any grim, bleak shit anyone can throw at us. ~ Anne Lamott 💛
I am a tea drinker. One of the odd things about tea for me is I do like to have black tea steep with the water at 100C/212F aka boiling. But then the tea is a bit too hot for me and I just sip it for a while. But when it gets to that warm/lukewarm state I just gulp the entire mug.
Then I make new tea and wait for it to cool properly.
Seems like red teas from India are "comfort teas" for a lot of people. Not sure what this says about me, but I have found various red teas from Taiwan to be the ones I gravitate towards when feeling the need for tea and comfort. Dalun Shan Red High Mountain Oolong via Mud and Leaves is a particularly nice example.
The first stop on the renewed #tea road is Sapphire #GABA#Oolong. It is said to be classic GABA with medium fermentation and roasting. And it is just like that. Well-balanced tea with a jam-like sweet aroma.
Today’s #tea is Lao Cha Tou or “Old Tea Heads”. It’s an unusually looking shu #puer tea, which lasts multiple brews. Also, these heads do not split apart.🙂
However, I don’t understand how good it is because I don’t understand #shu puers at all.🙈
The Xiao Zhong #tea. For me, it tasted like the default black (or red) tea. It was similar to the Ceylon tea I am quite familiar with. The only difference I felt was the prolonged aftertaste. I see it as a good basis for every tea collection.
The Bai Jian #whiteTea. It’s as good as its brother, the more famous Yue Guang Bai #tea. I have two types of the second one, so I am not sure that I will buy something extra, but it would be interesting for me to taste Bai Jian and Yue Guang Bai simultaneously.
