I brought my Super Nintendo from the US to Europe. The power brick is only compatible with 110v. I was using a stepdown transformer and a physical adapter. Such a hassle.
I got a 9V USB-PD trigger and a new DC plug. Soldered them together and voila! Super Nintendo running off of a USB-PD power brick. Very happy with this.

When I get a new Super Nintendo game, the first thing I do is replace the soldered-on CR2032 save battery with a battery holster and fresh battery. Should provide another 30 years of saving and an easy replacement when I’m so old I can’t solder anymore.
