I used to hate them but a few years back encountered Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrois which was described as “robot girl perfume” (I don’t know if that fits but I ended up really liking it elegantly but not stuffy, a little bracing—) then I found “lampblack” which smells like fountain pen ink and fire. Since then I’ve been having a good time buying samples and trying to find exciting scents. So— any of you got any off the beat recommendations?
