Yesterday evening was school #WarhammerAlliance and I got a boy and girl to paint #bloodbowl gnomes for me. I also did things with a pla printer that I should not have done but let's not talk about that.
I also restarted the skin and carapace on my #JeanSteelersCult mutants. Please tell me what you think of this shoulder so I can decide.
I'm finally making good progress on the Vyrkos Blood-borne from #cursedcity .
I'm quite happy with the fur and hair considering the scale.
I attempted NMM on the swords, but I was not happy, and I already tried a lot of new things on those models, so using regular metallic paint.
The last mini I'll be painting for a while as I'm heading to the airport in a few hours for a well-earned holiday. But as a last model, I painted this Tyranid for Hive Fleet Behemoth.
A Freeguild Marshal with a random helmet (Victoria Minis, I think) a good sized demon skull, and a holstered shotgun from the Arbites. Just a few changes tweaks the era just enough.
Was notified that i would need a sidekick for #rangersofshadowdeep so i painted this in a matter of 45 minutes.
Yes you probably recognise Boris Johnson in this. It's post apocalyptic BoJo by @FenrisGames and I bought it for my proxy #BloodBowl#CountBBFace team, in case the revised Vampires had a Thrall lineman.
Steelhelm body with GSC shotgun and Stormcast helm. I originally thought two pauldrons would be too much, now one looks like too little. Maybe if it were on the leading arm it would be better? I may need to add some metallics to show chipping on the helm and pauldron still.
Bit of green accent to use these guys for Eire Rangers once there is a whole group of them.
Snail mama by Micheal Kontraros, this bust was particularly difficult to paint because the tool marks from the clay sculpture carried over. It wasn’t nice and smooth even after proper preparation.I wanted to capture a kind of playful maliciousness in kind of an illustration /comic style.
I thought I would try something a little smaller than normal today. I painted some Death Guard Space Marines for Legions Imperialis. These guys really are tiny, but I still managed some edge highlights!
Stormlight, Battletech (before the Mercenaries kickstarter arrives), Robotech, some random samurai minis that will be joined by others eventually, and some Gundam Artifact.
Getting my life back in order post-move. May need to get a small table for the kitchen for the 3d print curing, but I can pretty easily fit the printer itself into the hobby room, along with a corsi-rosenthal box.

I’ve been in a real painting slump lately but I did manage to nearly finish these guys tonight (I started them weeks ago). They’ve got some real wonky eyes because painting eyes inside a helmet is a massive pain in the ass and I had zero patience for it today. All that’s left to do is give them a matte varnish and add sand and grass to the bases. #wip#paintingminiatures
A truly retro painting job today. I painted up this classic 2nd edition 40K Gretchin using everyone's most nostalgic colours. Paint quality may have moved on over the years, but there is a real joy to using these paints.
Creo que cuando termine la jornada de hoy de hoy me voy a plantar con dos equipos de gnomos por pintar y un equipo de hombres lagarto a medias.
El equipo de hombres lagarto es el que estoy pintando a medias y es un proyecto personal para ver que salida tiene intentar vender miniaturas pintadas por internet, un equipo de gnomos va a ser para mí que es el que tengo encargado (esta vez en Mathom, prefiero pagar dos euros más y dejarme de movidas) y el otro equipo de gnomos va a ser un encargo del que tengo que recoger esta tarde las figuras y no sé que va a ser, pero intuyo y sospecho que va a ser eso.
