In the beginning of September in 2018 I took part in Twitter #sailing. Our starting point was Turku #finland. We spent our first night on Brännskär island and another on Seili island. In ancient times, lepers were placed on the island of Seili. Later, a mental hospital was located there. Only one person ever got out of Seili hospital. Especially women with "wrong attitude" were sentenced to Seili. They had to bring wood for their own coffin with them when they arrived #history#oldtimes#health
