Many years ago i found a ‘list of items for a grand house in mourning’, on it were things like black velvet drapes etc and also a butter dish in the shape of a skull that moulds the butter inside in to a brain.
I feel like this was maybe a Perec thing, or something published by Atlas Press or someone like that.
Anyone know who wrote it or where it’s from? #goth#avantgarde#literature
"Ahead of their headline set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, Ed Power looks back on how drugs, drink, and the recording process turned goth-rock troupe into ‘a powder keg ready to explode.'"
I have to wait for my kid to graduate HS and move out before I can really goth out again. He's just way more long-hair artsy techno and it overwhelms him.
Too much cool new shit, that's my favorite luxury problem and it's what the past few weeks had in store, so a C-90 won't suffice this time. That, and also i totally had to add a ten-minute tune to the tracklist because why the fuck not? Dial A for fuzzed-out depravity and general mayhem. B for egg-ish dementia, quirky and forbidden fun and games for the whole family. C for darkness, death and despair. D for some beeps & bloops, followed by hits, hooks and melodies.
Went for a pedi and asked for black nail polish. Today I released, while in the sun, that is actually just very dark blue. There goes my Goth street cred.
