My #filemanagement method using 🏷️ is so much more than just a fine solution for #photomanagement. You'll see that it actually addresses many aspects of working with local files in general:
@RockyC I’m very similar, but with OneDrive. But I do tend to pile up a lot in Downloads, because a lot of things that need to be in a file for a moment but that I definitely don’t plan to keep.
I think for me, at least on the Windows side, Downloads is becoming what Desktop is for a lot of people—a workspace for ephemeral files I need for now but don’t want to put away or organize. My “real” files are all in the cloud (and in periodic local backups).
