Hi, I'm Diotima, a tiefling arcanist specializing in defensive magics.
I'm into #TTRPGS, light console gaming (I love #BaldursGate3, #DeadIsland2, and #NoMansSky), privacy advocacy, and being a bit of a salty bish. I've also been known to write stuff.
I'm probably chaotic good and was voted most likely to die doing stupid hero stuff by my class.
People publishing #TTRPGs on itch! I often see older games popping up in the "Latest physical games" list months after their initial publication. I initially thought it was due to devlogs being published, but that doesn't seem to be the case...
Anyone knows this weird trick that 98% publishers hate?
I gotta admit that I'm disappointed to hear that Dire Wolf Digital will be supporting their board games at #GenCon and not the #CortexPrime or #TalesOfXadia#TTRPGs. It seems like a wasted opportunity.
hey #bisexual fedizens (just like me frfr), we're all aware of the bi disaster subtype, yeah? What other kinds of bisexuals are there? I need to know for subclasses for my #qttrpg
In Just Quest, my OSR rules light game, all PCs are good. And they get two traits where they describe themselves with a keyword or two up to a single sentence. If they try to do something and one of the traits might help the DM can give them plus on their roll.
Finally doing one of these after migrating my account.
Hello #Fediverse! I’m Kemotep. I’m a #cybersecurity professional working as a security engineer in #Ohio. I am a father, husband, and rural Liberal Democrat. I enjoy hikes with my family, learning about #OpenSource technology, playing #TTRPGs and #PCGaming. Specifically looking forward to the release of #Dolmenwood and #EldenRing DLC.
Post mostly about my dog and liberal shitpoasting. My account used to be @archliberal.
Today, our review gnome @WhatDoIKnowJR takes a look at the Shadow of the Weird Wizard. It’s more than just a less horror oriented version of Shadow of the Demon Lord. Drop by and find out what it’s got going on.
I'm really chuffed about reaching episode 10—and the end of the first season—for my player group of (mostly) Trill crew on the Nebula-class USS Curzon. We're just reaching the end of 2371, they've been assigned to help with Admiral Leyton's Excelsior-class refit project, and the shift from "we're explorers" to "we must defend the Federation" has started to tip over given the political climate.
When I hear people say in #ttrpgs that they like to make up the character’s backstory and personality as they play rather than beforehand or at a session 0, I think they must have players that are far better at improv than the ones I play with.
In my experience, if a character doesn’t have a backstory at the beginning, they never will have one.
Tell me all about your #FridayFinds! What cool #TabletopGames and #TTRPGs have you discovered or played for the first time recently? What do you like about them? What drew you to them?
