Started #Hades (1). Ah, yes. This would be why it's so popular: #SupergiantGames firing on all cylinders is always a thing to behold. The art, the music, the snappy gameplay, the snappy writing/acting.
Wonder if I'll ever get back to trying Transistor or Pyre. I've only actually ever played Bastion (but that, too, was excellent.)
A project that's still dear to me, even if it'll likely never be finished - a deck of playing cards with the Hades characters! I have the full thing planned out but I only ever finished three cards sob #HADES#Supergiantgames#HadesFanart#Fanart#CardDeck#FediArt
So, a few years ago, a post was going around (on Tumblr I think), where someone stated that the linguistic root of "Cerberus" translates to "Spot" or somesuch and painted a cute scenario in which Hades named the dread dog of Hell Spot.
I was absolutely infatuated with the idea and painted this - only once I'd finished it did I think to google the Cerberus = Spot thing and immediately figured out that it isn't true 🤣 still, here's some puppy Cerberus!
@miona@retrohistories For me that has to be either #Bastion or #Transistor by #supergiantgames (makers of #Hades). The former has a fantastic soundtrack, and the latter actually has a button you can press and hold to let your character, Red, hum to the soundtrack. #DarrenKorb's OSTs are very worth your while.
